Dealing with hard times

Hey everyone 🌸🌸🌸! Happy Easter!!! I hope that you all had like an amazing time filled with family and friends, with hope and joy, for Jesus died for our sins.

This weekend, I went on a Easter Camp. I saw God move in many places in my life, and other peoples lives. I heard testimonies and how people's lives were changed because of the Holy Spirit. πŸ”₯I felt the Messiah in many ways and I cried multiple times, (note to self: Bring Waterproof mascara next camp πŸ˜‹!) I learnt how important it was to pray for others and I got the chance to pray for many of my friends. At one point we even stayed up most of the night and held a prayer circle! πŸ™πŸ»

I wanted to share a verse for dealing with hard times, it was my verse of the day when I read the bible πŸ“– this morning:

John 1:12 says: God blesses those who patiently endure testing and temptation. Afterwards they will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love him. πŸ’—

And I was like WOW🀩. I was like seriously stunned 😲. Somehow my bible had opened up to the page I needed to read at that time. That got me thinking about Job. For those who haven't read about Job, he was a good man and trusted God ✝️and he was filled with faith. God rewarded him with prosperous riches πŸ’΅ and children and he was at a stage in his life were he loved πŸ’—God and God loved him. Satan wanted to test Job so he took away everything πŸ€’. The riches, his children, his home. 😭 The only thing that wasn't harmed was Job. Job was really sad. πŸ˜”He was going through a hard time and he often lamented to God but he never directly blamed or cursed God. At the end once Satan πŸ‘Ώ had stopped cursing him, God restored his life to the fullest, even richer then it was before. ✝️🀩🀞🏻

And I just wanted to remind all of you that just because you are going through a hard time πŸ˜” doesn't mean that God doesn't love you. HE LOVES YOU SO MUCH HE DIED AND WORE THE CROSS ON HIS BACK SO YOU COULD LIVE FOR ETERNITY ✝️πŸ’—πŸ“–πŸ™πŸ» Just because you can't feel him doesn't mean he's not there. Just because there may not be much hope doesn't mean there's no light πŸ•―️ on the other end.

Praise the Lord ⛪ and trust him even when times are tough, and eventually in Heaven πŸ•―️πŸ™πŸ»you will prosper and be rewarded. In this blog post I would like to encourage you to leave a message to Daughters of the King asking for any prayer requests you have. It can be big, or small. I want you to know you are not alone. God bless you this week.
